Kingdom Royal Carbon Black adds a new contemporary cosmetic to the outstanding Kingdom Royal loudspeaker concept. Remaining Tannoy’s flagship loudspeaker in terms of technical expertise and acoustic performance, the Carbon Black edition adds a bespoke carbon fibre outer to the plywood wrap, black Italian leather diffuser panel and new satin black coachwork. The carbon weave wrap is hand crafted as a bespoke project for each Kingdom Royal Carbon Black to create a unique loudspeaker concept.
The traditional gold trim on the standard Kingdom Royal is replaced with hand machined aluminium parts for the Carbon Black edition, giving the design a striking black and silver cosmetic look. Machined aluminium parts include the massive rear port tube, itself weighing in at over 1kg. The grille cloth is upgraded to a heavily textured black weave to continue the contemporary cosmetic theme. Accessories such as the massive cones and floor cups are milled from aluminium to maintain the colour cosmetic throughout.
